In a current TechRepublic video, Jack Wallen confirmed the best way to create and use a Docker CIFS quantity with the Portainer web-based GUI. The next is an edited transcript of his tutorial.
First off, you’ll must have a CIFS share to hook up with on both the machine internet hosting Docker or one other machine in your community.
Log into Portainer, choose the Docker surroundings and click on Volumes from the left navigation. Click on Add Quantity within the high proper nook. Give the quantity a reputation, and click on the On/Off slider for Use CIFS Quantity till it’s within the on place.
